Expect the unexpected 7 stories from 7 groups of filmmakers across Southeast Asia, The Bangkok ASEAN Film Festival 2023 proudly supports these promised young filmmakers to release their amazing projects on screen in the near future. • The Nesting Hour | Dir: Adriano Rudiman, Prod: Hanna Humaira (Indonesia)
• The Passport | Dir: Ananth Subramaniam, Prod: Choo Mun Bel (Malaysia)
• The Silence and Stealth of a Hungry Cat | Dir: Arden Rod Condez, Prod: Stelle Laguda, Jo Andrew Torlao (The Philippines)
• Weed Season | Dir: Sorayos Prapapan, Prod: Nuttawat Attasawat (Thailand)
• What the /hel/ | Dir: Nguyen Thi Xuan Trang, Prod: Ivy Yu-Hua Shen (Vietnam)
The director and producer of the 7 selected projects will join two sessions of an online workshop on project presentation with international experts to prepare for a pitching session with the jury comprising internationally renowned film professionals.
