Synopsis:

Set during Thailand’s economic boom, an ambitious advertising executive meets a male hustler who struggles at the bottom rung of society. Their differences in class, social status and intellectual interest couldn’t be wider, and the film casts a long look at Thai society at a time when the trauma of the past still lingers amidst the promise of a brighter future. The film stars two of Thailand’s best-known actors in the 1980s Likhit Akemongkol and Sinjai Plengpanich.

Director’s Biography:

ML Bhandevanop Devakula is a well-known director of feature films, TV series and stage plays. He’s also respected as an acting instructor who has trained a great number of young Thai stars. His first feature film was “Plerng Pisawad” in 1984. “Chang Mun Chan Mai Care” (Whatever, I Don’t Care) was made in 1986 and was hailed as a film that captures the complex sentiment of young Bangkokians of the period. His later films include “Chua Fah Din Salai” (Eternity, 2009) “Plae Kao” (The Scar, 2014) and “Mae Bia” (2015).
