Davy Chou

Davy Chou

Davy Chou is a French-Cambodian director and producer based in Phnom Penh. Grandson of pioneer Cambodian producer Van Chann, Chou directed in 2011 the feature-length documentary “Golden Slumbers”, produced by Vycky Films, which explores the loss memory of the heydays of Cambodian cinema in the 1960s, before its destruction by the Khmer Rouge in 1975. The film was selected at Forum Berlinale and Busan Film Festival.

Chou co-founded French production company Vycky Films in 2009 and Cambodian production company Anti-Archive in 2014, which aims to support the emergence of a new generation of Cambodian filmmakers.

Shireen Seno

Shireen Seno is an artist and filmmaker whose work addresses memory, history, and image-making, often in relation to the idea of home. A recipient of the 2018 Thirteen Artists Award from the Cultural Center of the Philippines, she is known for her films which have won awards at Rotterdam, Punto de Vista, Shanghai, Olhar de Cinema, Vladivostok, Jogja-NETPAC, and Lima Independiente and have screened at New Directors/New Films at Film Society of Lincoln Center and MoMA, among others.

Phuttiphong Aroonpheng

Phuttiphong Aroonpheng works as a film director and cinematographer. His films have screened in major film festivals in Europe, America and Asia. His debut feature film as a director “Manta Ray” won the Orizzonti Award for Best Film at the 2018 Venice Film Festival, as well as 11 other international awards. He just recently completed his second feature film “Morrison”.
