Synopsis

Forty-year-old Alice is on the brink of having a middle-age mental and emotional breakdown. After finally ending her toxic relationship with Ben who is 13 years her junior, she discovers that she is carrying his child. Alice’s first instinct is to have the pregnancy terminated. Torn between terminating the pregnancy and the prospect of be-coming a single mom, a transformation occurs in Alice’s life. As she explores the world of first-term pregnancy, she learns what it means to let go of the toxic things in her life; how to be a better friend to another woman, a mother who’s also in the verge of despair; and finally, how to be a daughter to her own estranged mother. And just when she’s finally decided to keep the baby, she loses it.
